I don't own one, but my friend does. It's the most quiet heli I've ever heard. Near silent at 2300 rpm with plenty of pop and he gets 6 minute flight times. The thing is super light, it doesn't need a ton of headspeed to get moving.

Agree , i maidened yesterday and had 5 flights on it, super smooth and quiet and it has a big heli feel, very darn stable. I think i am on the 2600 rpm and at 5 minutes i had 28% lift over capacity.

Logo's are the quietest heli's on the market. My buddy flew his Trex 550 after my 550sx yesterday and it sounded like a nitro in comparison

I have mine set for 2125, 2250 2400. I normally fly it at 2250 and get 6 minutes. My packs come down to about 3.83 per cell.

I go down to 2100, much lower than that and I get dampener wobble. Do most of my flying at 2300 because the gov has enough head room there. Fun to fly little machine.

I run 2300 on the vbar gov and get 7:00 min with plenty left on 3700mah batteries. I have the 23 tooth pinion and 2300 seems to be the optimal rpm according to the head speed calc.

I get comments on how quiet it is. Very smooth helicopter.

Stock motor as well. Mix of 2100-2300rpm, 5:45 on 3600-3800 packs. The stock motor barely gets warm and I often fly it back to back for 6 flights.

Default headspeed

So max headspeed is about 2600? Average is 2300 ? 2300 seems low for 480 blades

After flying the Logo 480, I can't argue with these numbers, fly's good at lower or higher headspeed, so you can get looong flight times easy.

I have not but I will this weekend and report back. I've bumped it down to 2500 vbar gov with 92,98 and 100 TC. Still trying to find the right HS for me. I wish there was a bigger pinion so I could try some higher head speeds.

Dd you build yours using the thicker plastic spacers on the head, between head and blade holder...

They show two setups, one with harder dampening than the other.

So which way did you go?

Yes. The stock motor should have had a higher kv 1150-1200.
