Default Align 550 Belt?
Anyone running a belted tail on their Align 550? I'm pretty sure I saw an option for it while perusing parts... Is it worth the switch?

I'm running one on my 550e stretched to 600 in a scale 500e fuselage! Smooth and quiet! Running a 600 boom, belt and tail https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=699913

If you want my honest opinion - converted my 550's /550(stretch 600)booms over to all belt......cause everyone told me it would save on crashes.....

Well its a $8 belt - which breaks half the time in oops ops - vs $13 torque tube - that breaks almost everytime...

The TT is piece of cake to replace - the belt - not so much....

Only advantage of belt is us that do ground checks alot with tail blades - loose belt might skip/jump - where as the TT gears - chew up..
which is not currently covered under Obama care.....

SO - good / bad - what is your time worth????
