Can't open the V1.2 D/L

Hi guys. I downloaded the V1.2 from Align's web page numerous times now, but I don't know how to open this RAR file(?) Tried WinAce free d/l just to extract it...but still to no avail. I'm stuck at V1.1 up to now. Tried un-installing and installing the disc program thinking that will help, but nothing happens.

Sorry, I am just computer illiterate, lol. Any step by step guide on how to succesfully run the this new version of the 3GX software?
