Upcoming B450X bible
Hello guys,
I'm working on finding funds to either get a 450X or a AR7200BX and do a full conversion. As soon as I'm able to have the funds, i'll work on the B450X bible. Thanks, Thalios! |

Once again Thalios putting in work so everyone has a solid reference tool
With how much you support these heli's and help people I'd vote that you get a 450X free for all that you do!

It'd be nice, but I don't live in fantasy land! hehe Should be able to in the next 2-4 weeks (I hope!) Unless HH wants to donate a conversion kit for the cause? Dribbe, Mikel, David? hahaha |

Glad to see you're going to be converting to a 450X. It's very stable but I need all the setup help I can get! Thanks and thumbs up Thalios

I'd be willing to make a small donation to a Paypal account to help make this happen sooner. Can you advise via PM what email address I can send to??
Thanks

Wow, Sanza, the Bible will have to mention: "Sponsored by Sanzaborn33"!
I've started on the basic stuff which is similar to the B450 3D, plus the updated servo, blades, etc. I also want to try to do it differently and have a user feedback section so i can add more stuff more frequently. |

Great Thalios!
Your to blame for leading me to Helifreak and me actually joining a forum when you moved the original Bible. I truly appreciate all the time you spent creating and updating it. Now that I also have the 450X I will be looking forward to your efforts and hoping not to need it.. ( like that's likely..ha) Thank You! P_H_C MCX2,MCPX,mSR,mSRx,MQX,SR,B450,550e 3gx

I got so much help from the blade 450 3d bible that I would also be willing to add to a 450x fund if it will help you get one sooner. You saved me lots of money with the info you provided.

Since the head has been pushed so far back, I've decided to simply get the 450X instead.
I've gathered about 50% of the costs so far, so soon, I should be able to get started on the Bible! |

Just curious as to why you would go with the blade when you love your protos so much?
I know the mini is much more $$ but just wanted to see Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD |

Simple. Because the 450 is flyable in much smaller areas and is WAY less intimidating to do crazy stuff.
Plus crashes on the 450 are super cheap compared to my Prôtos. I already have a really nice 450 3D, but am REALLY bored of flybarred helis. my Prôtos and B450 both serve 2 really different purposes. The 450 is a fly anywhere, no worries, let's try that new 3d move kinda deal. The Prôtos is a super powerful, super stable, amazing sound, awesome looking heli. |

Oh, and as to why a B450X over the mini P? Simple, pricing. The mini P will run me 800-900$ where the 450X is 480$ with taxes and shipping at my LHS.

B450X BNF sticker is $399. at my LHS. (No sales tax in Oregon) Only one in stock. I don't know if blade forced him to stock one just to be a distributor or what...my LHS is always either at list or slightly high on the small stuff but seems to try really hard to get the bigger stuff out of the store. I've walked back and looked at the box each of the last 3 times I've been to the store. Maybe today I'll ask to have it taken out of the box for a closer inspection.
I just purchased mCPx #3 and the mqx yesterday there. i was thinking how for just a hundred bucks more..... Anyway, the B450X was never on my buy list, but now I am so tempted. |

I picked it up today. Along with a V2 mCPx and expect my mqx to be here in about 10 days. OK, I'm done spending for 2012. No more helicopters. None, zero. Spare parts only. Not even the 300X when it comes out.
I've put 8 batteries through the V2 mCPx with no crashes/scratches being super careful with it (got two of the V1 for beaters) I don't know whether I'm happy with the V2 mCPx. It has a small but annoying tail wag. I've changed blades, adjusted blade tightness, and rebound it using correct V2 binding procedure. Any advice on the tail wag? Call Horizon Hobby? Live with it? I got one of my V1 mCPx's flying absolutely perfect last week-no jumps, wobbles, twitches, vibrations, etc. Just rock steady and smooth. Of course, this happened an hour after I committed to buying the V2. Anyway, I'd like my new V2 to fly better than my year old beater. O.K., back on topic. The 450X bible. |
