Blade 350qx2 unknown Led code??

Ok I am getting an unkown LED code and some flight issues with my blade 350qx2. Yes ive looked in the manual and spent hours searching internet for the led code. Ill start with the copter and how this all started. I purchased the blade 350qx2 about 3 weeks ago. it has a phoenix flight carbon fiber frame and some prop adapters, other then that it is all stock. I got about 10 good flights out of it were gps worked great in all modes etc. I decided to update to the newest firmware version. it upgraded good and this is were the trouble starts.

After the upgrade I got one successful flight with no issues or crashes. Now I have a very difficult time getting and holding a gps signal and it throws a weird LED code I cant find described in any manual. The light will be whatever color for witch ever flight mode im in then blink real fast two blinks of a yellow kinda red color. Example: AP mode... Purple, yellow, yellow.....purple, yellow, yellow,... purple, yellow, yellow,... Its basically acting like I cant get a gps signal so it wont allow me to start the motors and take off. Now when I did get a steady color and gps signal long enough to start motors it will take off and then when it starts throwing code it will just slowly land itself. I can power up but it just slowly comes straight down no matter what I do. now here is were it gets even stranger, if I turn the copter up side down I get a steady flight mode light and code stops... as soon as I turn it back right side up it throws led code etc.. at times its seems like its easier to get gps lock inside my house and not outside??

I have inspected gps on copter and spent hours trying to find out what is going on. i can fly with out gps but i really like the return to home...someone help please!
