Cool What a monster!!!!!

I got what I thought was my new motor for my 500 in the mail yesterday from KDE. The first thing I thought when I got the package from the mail lady is "Damn, this thing is heavier than I thought!" When I opened the box I found out why.

It was a motor for a 600 instead of the motor I ordered for my 500. What a monster looking motor! Looks like it has a ton of power and well made. I e-mailed them with the problem and as usual, they got right on it and shipped out my 500 motor. They told me I could keep the TX neckstrap that was also in the box for my trouble which was cool. Since I've seen this motor I'm anxious to get the right motor and check it out.

Why not keep the motor and get a 600 kit?

Just sayin...

Looks good! Looks like they soldered regular wire to the windings in the can, so we could trim the wires without needing to sand/scrape any enamel (from the windings).... could you confirm this?

That's how the Neu I just received is also...

Just looked at it and it looks like the windings are solder to the leads that hook up to the ESC. The winding are huge!
