Default The battery still good?

Hi all HF's

I've got a 3000mah 2 cell receiver battery that seems to have puffed up a little bit and I'm not sure if it's still OK for use. It keeps it's charge as far as I can tell, charge and discharge times has not changed at all and the puffyness is not soft but hard.

Can I still use it?
Are there some tests that will help in telling me yes or no?
Does it look too puffy?

I know if one asks this question, the fact that I'm asking should be enough right? But I know that I can be on the overly cautious side sometimes, thus the question.

Thanx!!

I don't think it looks too puffy. I think in the second pic thats just a wire going down the pack (ive made the same mistake before too).

I'd ask yourself this, how expensive is it to replace the battery vs. how much damage can it do if it malfunctions?
Thats the real question. Also safety in your house.

Better safe than sorry. Im sure a 3000mah 2s can't be that expensive to replace!
