Default Overload hard cut or slow down?

Hey guys, in the event of drawing too much current, is the shut down a hard one or a slow down like when you set slow down for lvc? This is for the 120lvk. I've just installed an Xnova 4025-1120 in a 550 and believe the amps could get up there if pushed.

Dont stress, that motor will not shutdown that esc unless your some sort of freak. Not sure about the cut off? I've never had a yge cut but I have with a kosmik whick was a hard cut. I think the only soft cut most manufactures offer is with lvc. And kosmik has a capacity sift cut as well.
