That's Nick Maxwell. We've have known about it for quite a while. Bert Kammerer, Bobby Watts and Kyle Stacy have some awesome vids of the Gaui 200 flying in pretty tight outdoor spaces as well.

When are you going to get a 200 class heli? Waiting for the Align 250? Personally, I'm hoping some of the Align parts will fit the Gaui

.....and you can bet I'll be getting one if it's as good as other ALign helis.

Yep just waiting on some flight vids to make a choice.

It has to be good. I can't see Align putting something out that would damage their reputation. I talked to Bert Kammerer a while ago, no one in the US had seen the little bugger at that time. JK isn't designing it (I believe Alex is) so there will be a huge flurry of post as soon as it hit's some lucky person's hands. With Align's team pilots you know it's going to be a kick-A heli.

SJM, Outrage RC, Align and Gaui, things are looking sweet for 200 class people and helis in general. I haven't seen this kind of action since the Align Trex 450.

I have. Amazing!

But have you seen the T-rex 250 fly yet?

I just don't care for that forum to much,...... anyhow,,, I would be curious of this 250,,, I am willing to bet it will be a fair bit heavier than the 200 Gaui, we'll see but Align machines usually are just heavier.

From the pictures I've seen it looks to be designed for 3S setup. I'll bet a dollar the 250 will weigh around 200g without equipment. I'm extremely interested in the shaft diameters. 4mm main wouldn't be a shock with a 3mm tail rotor shaft. Honestly I'm hoping it has a 3mm main, we might be able to swap some parts if the are.

Another obvious area of interest for me is the tail design. Specifically the tail rotors, grip sizes and gear ratios.

I'm surprised there's not a 250 forum already like every other Align heli before this one. Or did I miss it?

I'll definitely get one as soon as I can, and let you guys know what it's like. I'm back in Hong Kong, so I might be able to get one a little quicker than you guys. I had to leave all my helis (both my 200's and my T-rex 450) and my DX7 in the US this time so unless I can save up for a tx and a hopefully a t-rex 250 I won't be doin' any heli flying for 10 months! I could buy another Gaui 200, but with all these new helis coming out, I'll wait as patiently as possible.

Forum? Who is talking about the forum? I was referring to the heli.

the only thing I don't like about the align heli is that I believe its going to end up more blade cp sized than gaui 200 sized. Other than that, align quality not perfect is pretty good and worlds better than the gaui. I believe the gaui 200 will be done if align does the 250 right. Parts available at any store that sells align will put the nail in the gaui coffin.

No way

With a few exceptions, the Gaui 200 is of a very high quality.

From what I've read the 250 will swing right around 200mm main blades. We'll never know until it's done but, from what I can gather it's very close to the Gaui 200 in size. I doubt it will "put the nail in the Gaui coffin". It will certainly boost the 200 class heli market though!

Why on earth were you not able to take your gear with you back to Hong Kong?

Sorry dude - I really am.

geez man, I love the little heli, its the only thing I fly now as I've said on numerous occassions, but very high qaulity? which part? The metal parts are crappy at best, they bend up, I"ve had 3 sets of blade grips and each set is different, the first set was defective out of the box. The links aren't high quality, I've bolted in the seesaw 3 different ways and it still has play, etc. And the tail??? I think some people where special glasses when looking at this heli. Its the only 200 that I know of that when setup well will fly and do 3d nicely, but that doesn't make it high quality. Personally, for the price they charge, I think its insulting.
