Default Tail belt

Hi Guys, i was just checking over my 250 ealier and noticed the tail belt had some slight fraying on the edge in one place, so i thought time for a new one. When i opened a new pack the brand new one had exactly the same fraying . Has anyone had this problem?

Not sure what to do now, should i change it or leave it

I have noticed some places do a kevlar upgraded belt for the 250, is this any better?

(I'm pretty sure the stock belts ARE kevlar reinforced.) A few short stray fibers of kevlar peeked out of my belt since I got it. It's run just fine ever since. I haven't put 100 flights on it, but I'm sure it's over 50. It's easy to cause them by using a tool to pull the belt over the pulley. When I saw it, it was pretty short but I trimmed it down flush so it couldn't snag anything. Now, if you're seeing any belt teeth getting loose or missing, that's when I'd worry.

Mine also frayed after just a few flights, I went to the Kevlar belt and it's great, over 50 flights and no fraying at all. I give the kevlar two thumbs up!!

Where did you order the Kevlar belt from?

Yeah, my standard one was fraying pretty bad after around 30 flights. (yellow string stuff coming out the sides) i replaced it with the kevlar one and it seems pretty good! Only done 15 or so flights on it, but it seems great.

I have heard some bad news about the standard align belt with it fraying like this so i thought to go straight to the after market one...

I replaced my original stock belt at 100 flights and it still looked brand new. I had some of the kevlar belts on hand but I put another stock belt on because the original was doing so good!
