Default Undestroyable MCPX

Got into my MCPX again after a bit of a hiatus - no mods just stock 1S - actually seems to fly similar to my tricked up version. Anyway two weeks ago on a windy day got it stuck on top of a fig tree - around 30 feet up. Two weeks in the elements, lipo connected and a couple of rain showers I cut enough fig down to rescue it. Bit of oil on the bearings, new lipo in and off she went - good as ever !

A week later, another windy Sunday, clipped a palm, hit TH and the darn thing fell into the swimming pool - total immersion in 4 feet water - anyway fished it out pronto and blow me the blades powered up and started spinning as soon as it was clear of the water. Pulled the lipo lead and left it out in the sun all day to dry out and tried it late afternoon - perfect ! Could not believe all the electrics and motor worked fine I know they're tough little helis but didn't it to expect total immersion - my phone certainly didn't !

You heard it here first, in the case of a thermonuclear war only cockroaches and mCP X's will survive.

On my days off the park I fly at just at sunrise they have the sprinklers running and the grass gets soaked! I used to worry crashing and then how wet they were when I picked them up. So far they don't seem to mind getting slightly wet all over, I figure in flight the blades must give a good down draft of wind to air dry itself lol

I'm having tons of fun with this little thang [and with the mCPx-BL]. I fly over grass in a baseball field. If you remember to hit throttle hold a split second before it meets mother earth, the most usual problem is twisted or popped main gear [mCPx] or popped landing skids [mCPx-BL]. I solved the first problem with Xtreme one-way gear, and gooped the main gear to the frame in the mCPx-BL. I have a TRex 450pro, and I've spent more time fixing it than flying it. With these little devils, I advanced from hover to circuits, figure 8s, stall turns, flips and rolls [with quite a few tail blow-outs on the mCPx].

My little mcpx meet a very tall tree during a heavy breeze. Got stuck bout 30 feet up. I stood around for bout 5 mins with a sad face wondering how and the hell im gonna get this thing out . Im to fat to climb a tree. Then I had brain fart flipped TH off spooled her up and watched the leaves fly and out my bird feel 30 feet to the pavement. Dug some leaves from canopy popped connector rods on and off she flew. My bird has taken some beatings and she continues to fly.
