few questions

hi peeps.
few q's just got a beast x and rjx head for my trex 450 pro.
hs65mg's, stock esc and motor, stock blades, s9257 with stepdown on tail.
the front two servo leads are not long enough to route neatly back to the beast x unit. only way they can reach is to route them close to swash and mainshaft. is everyone just using extensions?
also not entirely clear where i should be plugging esc into, 6100e or beast x, as it suggest both in manual.
ive used double layer of hardware stor tape, as the stock stuff seems way to soft.
any answers or suggestions much appreciated.

My servo wires run inside the frame past the main shaft. I keep them from touching by using zip ties. It isn't a problem, just make sure nothing touches a moving part.

The ESC connection depends on if you are using a full size receiver or a satellite receiver. I use a full size and my ESC line comes off receiver as normal. Then also connect the channels for Ail, Ele which will then carry the power to the BeastX as well. Finally you can use the cable that splits into 3 for connecting the signals for rudder, gain and pitch.

This is assuming your servos are being powered by the ESC.

thankyou very helpful. im using a 6100e rx. yes servos are running off the esc. do you have any piks of your servo wire routing?

This is the only pic off hand I believe of wiring. The wires actually travel in the gap between the 2 front servos and then are kept from touching the main shaft by using a zip tie. This pic is from when I had a flybar but the idea is the same... I now have the BeastX where the tail gyro is in the pic. The elev servo is basically wired from outside and over the rear of the frame.

The tricky part was getting the connections from my receiver to the BeastX... not much room but it is from inside the frame up in the gap between the torque tube and frame. I took some connections from the left side and some from the right.

The 450 pro frame is a tight fit. But I am not crashing so often so I wired all inside my frame. Your other option is to simply run the wires on the outside of the frame.

Do a search on wiring the 450 pro. I believe there are a lot of pics showing options that are very 'clean'.
