308 duo balance cable 8s ouput cable x 3s balance board
So I just got a 308 duo and I bought a couple parallel balance/charge boards. First the balance cable output from the charger is for 8s and the input of the balance board is for 3s do I just cut one of the nipples off the one side of the 3s cable that came with the balance board so it will plug into the charger? Thanks

Although there are people who mod their balance leads to plug directly into the charger as you have asked about, I just use the balance board adapters that came with the charger, and leave them constantly plugged in. I then plug my balance leads into the adapter, and leave them there, too. Simple. Have you thought about doing it that way?

My charger didn't come with balance cable adapters? It did come with a balance board so I think what you are saying is to have the stock balance board plugged in first then plug the second balance board into that one correct? Thanks

Yes, that is correct. It makes for a bit of a wiring mess, but it alleviates modding stuff, etc.

You can always just plug in your cables in direct, just make sure you have it plugged in all the way to the right-hand side no need to cut any of the nipples off. I always check it out by plugging a battery in before charging and making sure the cells reading from cell number 1 - upwards, this way I know I am connected to the first pin from the main charger. Have a look at the video from Slyster , you can clearly see how he has plugged in the balance cables |
