spektrum ar6210 won't bind to dx6i
I've done a search for a solution but am coming up with nothing helpful. I am building a new 450 pro and need to get the servos to 90 deg before installing them and I can 't get my receiver to bind. I am using a dx6i Tx and I have a new spektrum ar6210 with satellite. I have douible checked that the bind plug is installed correctly... It'll only go in one way. ESC is plugged into the THRO slot. I have a freshly charged Lipo plugged into the ESC. I get two flashing lights on the reciever and satellite and then I hold the 'trainer/bind' toggle while turning on the Tx. I wait for the lights to change but nothing happens.
Has anyone had this happen? Have you found a solution? Thanks in advance!! Pat |

I posted this in another forum but thought I might get a better response here. I've done a search for a solution but am coming up with nothing helpful. Thanks PT... I have. I've tried it next to it, a few feet away, 10 feet away and from across the room. Nothing.

I had the problem binding my dx7s with other spektrum radios on and also I had a problem binding under cfl lights but in general I still have a hard time binding with the micros
the best bind I get is with the HK orange receivers and I've never lost a bind even on my nitro planes. I agree don't be to close |

Well.... found the problem. My radio is bad. I had a friend try to bind with his radio and it bound fine. My Tx isn't even a year old. The other heli's I have bound on that radio still work fine but it might explain a couple of weird characteristics on one of the mCPX's I have.
Thanks for the help! |

Before you post it off to get repaired just make sure your not trying to bind a DSMX RX to a DSM2 TX, could just be a compatibility issue.
Good luck with it. |

peilers I have seen Rxs that refuse to bind to specific Txs when powered by a BEC.If you have a battery pack I would try to power the Rx with that during binding. On the Rxs that are already bound and are connecting what happens when you do a low power/range check? I wouldnt hold alot of hope that it is anything you can fix yourself. Im not sure how you contacted them but this is the link that will get the fastest response. http://servicecenter.horizonhobby.com/

Thanks for the link aerocal! just sent them a message... The other form through Spektrum said they'd get back to me in 3-5 days. This is going to drive me nuts to be put on hold for so long. I thought about going out to get a battery pack to try to bind it with that, but didn't want to spend the money if that's the only reason to use the pack and not need it for anything else. My thinking is if it won't bind, then something isn't quite right with the radio and I'd like it to be right. I also was unsure of what size pack I'd need to bind it... didn't know if it mattered.
