Default Raptor 50 with Trex 600 head:

Hi All,

I recently purchased a Trex 600 and never used the head supplied with the kit. I have a 3D setup Raptor 50 powered by an OS 55 and she really flies well. Unfortunately she still on the stock plastic head but handles well in spite of it. I was considering to replace the plastic head with the metal Trex head I have, but wanted to know if any of you have tried this and if there was an improvement in the flying characteristics of the heli?

Thanks,

I love my Raptor, but at the same time have a new trex head that i want to test and compare to the standard plastice Raptor one, If i find that the Trex head is way better then i might later go for an SE head...

hello there , i have done this , the 600 full original head doesn`t quite give enough total pitch for good old 3D , but will fly fine if ya don`t need the plus/minus 15 degrees , the rex 550 original head is better as it gives more pitch and will allow for some great 3D , to be honest i haven`t tried the latest flybar`d heads as i found the titan se full head set up to be the best on the rappy , until flybarless came along , just my view , ady

I have also been thinking about this..... but I was also thinking 1 step further. That is to put on the Trex600 flybarless head onto my Raptor!!!!
