Question about value of Hirobo SST Eagle 2
I purchased some RC goodies at an estate sale and in the lot was a brand new, assembled, Hirobo SST Eagle 2 with OS 61, 5 Futaba S9202 servos and a GY501 gyro. It came with a radio so I checked all of the controls then pulled the radio to keep it. It also has the inverted flight kit.
I am a plane guy and not a heli guy so I don't know much about helis. I am going to sell it as a receiver ready heli and I would like to get some thoughts on what it is worth from some experience heli guys. The heli is literally new, it does not look like it has even been sitting around for 10 years. It is MINT, like it was wrapped in plastic. I know that it is older technology as far as helis go but it still seems like a pretty cool machine and I am guessing there are not many brand new units around. Thanks |

Hi,
A while back I bought an Eagle 2 GS on eBay for $150.00. It needed a new tail boom, boom holder, and some cleaning up. It was otherwise in very good condition. It also had a full set of 9202 servos , 401 gyro, and PCM receiver. Joel |

I've been trying to sell virtually the same heli for quite some time now and no one seems interested...not sure why, it's in great shape and very nice....

Older Hirobos are hard to find parts for ( sadly I think Hirobo has put all their helis into extinction) . Sometimes you get lucky and find parts around. Many parts are available from Japan but are expensive to ship. You have to really like the old Hirobos to want to keep them going. I like mine but fear the day I break something and can't fix it.

Question about value of Hirobo SST Eagle 2
Still think some of the die-hard Hirobo fans are looking for good quality Eagle 2. But not much as good quality there left.

Eagle 2 is an outdated but good machine..
Eagle 3 WC & Eagle 3 EP is what Hirobo fans would want now.. It's a great Heli.. Just not very popular now because of newer more current models
