I whatched about ten mins. of it.It was all about the Robinson helis, showed a lot of the manufacturing plant.I'd give anything to work there.(except my helis)!

I watched the whole thing. It's a bit dated withe the recent developements, I think it came out in 04/05.

It's a shame they canned the commanche project. What was wrong with it?

As best I understand it, they kept it in development so long (20-30 yrs) that the enemy it was supposed to fight gave up and went home (USSR). also lots of delays and overruns.


really cool heli though! stealth capable too, I think.

Actually a fair amount of it seemed to be re-used footage. Different then the one posted here from youtube though.

The TV Guide online said it was produced in 2010 and was NEW.

The automated camera platform at the end was probably the newest footage that they used and also the part on the Rotorway helis was new I think.
(I've seen probably every heli show that Discovery has done.)
