Hii Surfer, have you tried a new tail rotor as well as a new tail motor. I ask that as when you buy a new complete tail assembly you obviously throw the stock V1 rotor in the bin and fit the V2 or MCP rotor. If that is damaged or loose it will cause blow out.

How are your flight times, because if there is friction at the main shaft that could put a strain on the tail. Also a worn main motor could cause blow out i suppose if too much pitch was being used to compensate for slow rpm.

However I'm sure you would notice that so I I think your RX has gone south. I lost tail drive on my first RX and it was a gradual transition too.

I remember what you have on your Genius and basically it shoudn't blow out, ie. C05 with 8 tooth wont blow out, nor will a decent tail rotor. So unless you have mollasses in your main bearings it must be a problem at the RX, maybe only a bad connection. I do think the GCP RX is a bit expensive particularly when compared to the V120D02S RX so I hope its something simple that we've overlooked.

alphonso, I always go to the most expensive thing the rx too. I was sweating bullets that the rx wasn't it.
Well, I took your advice and put a new motor and tail rotor on it I replaces the KBDD larger prop for the smaller solo pro prop and it seems to hold much better so I don't think it's the rx. Whooooooot
Thanks

Good stuff mate. Yeh, going by what I read I'm not sure on the KDBB tail. Many people quoting blow out have them in their specs. Seems like a waste of money when the best tail rotor is made by Walkera (in my opinion). I prefer black blades (invisible) simply because they look better on the sideboard so have never tried any of their products. Plus I'm getting old and got all that bright orange and green crap out my system in the 80's lol.

Black is the new black, forever and allways.

I meant KBDD, I'm forever getting that wrong. Like an old fart who mispronounces a word just for the thrill of it to annoy the youth with their short sleeves and rapping music.
