Default Balance time

First heli and first post so apologies for what is probably a noob question but Google won't find me the answer.

I've bought an Absima 4btn balance charger to replace the OEM charger that came with my honey bee. If I look at the individual cell voltages it charges up to within .01 of a volt very quickly but then takes another 30minitues sitting the before it tells me it's charged. During this time the current drops to .1A.

If it charges/balances that quickly do I need to wait for it to decide it's finished it can I take it off when I can see its charged? Does a difference of .01/2V count as balanced?

Many thanks in advance and I hope I'll be able to repay the favour when I've gained a little more experience!

You charger had first balanced the cells then charged it to maximal charge voltage of 4.2V, trouble is this voltage peak occurs before maximum capacity of charge is reached. A fast charge will leave you under capacity so chargers tail off charge towards the end either by reducing current or on some older models by pulsing it.

You can finish the charge early but will be 10-15% short of maximal capacity. Balance of less than 0.03V per cell is fine.
