Hey sorry I read on another post that there way a delay and release date will be pushed back i probable shouldn't have posted what I read my mistake I hope it doesn't get pushed back I've been waiting for the logo700 I'll look for the post I read about the delay and see who posted it

That would be perfect if they just built thrust bearings into the blocks, I am spoiled with my KDE blocks, I will wait till they have it done.

I beg to differ.. I think those thrust bearings are the biggest waste of money. There would be noone that would ever be able to notice any difference.

I am just wondering what advantage thrust bearings would have in a bearing block that holds the mainshaft in and only deals mainly with circular forces and sideway forces. Thrust bearings in my experiece so far are in places where there are lateral compression forces on the bearings, such as the tail and main rotor assemblies. My Diabolo which is very well engineered just has radial bearings in the bearing block holders.

The entire weight of the heli is supported from the main shaft either upright or inverted, so there are forces on the bearings that justify thrust bearings. The only way to determine the actual benefit would be by testing and recording actual data, or by having some substantial annecdotal evidence. IMHO

I think the design of the KDE thrusted bearing blocks has its merits. What i found in practice was something different.
The idea of putting the thrust bearings is, in fact sorta like putting them on main and tail grips to take the axial load off the radial bearings. The problem that I had was in order to work, the radial bearing has to not be fixed in place, so that the thrust bearing can do its work. In a blade grip, there is no complete rotation of the radial bearing (+/- maybe 15 degrees max) and a constant centrifugal (axial) load on the thrust bearing. The problem with running loose bearings on the main shaft is that the looseness of the radial bearing in its mount allows it to spin and that creates galling and wear, along with increased roughness and vibration. IMHO, the best bet is to get the radial bearings that have the angular contact races. They allow both radial and axial loads to be absorbed. I have run the I2 bearing blocks with them, as well as their tail which also uses them and have had no issues. I'm not intending to knock Patrick's product, but just detailing what I saw when I ran the loose bearings in the main bearing blocks.

For Europe, the German Align distributor Robbe has them on their website announced with expected arrival in week 36 (i.e. end of August), with a price tag of 1299€ (HV) and 1149€ (non-HV).

if you run a regulator then the non HV are the way to go but if you like HV on 2s plus you can you can increase the speed of the swash with HV in the 3gx
