Question T-rex 500 metal tail belt drive unit?

I am in the process of converting my 500GF to flybarless and want to swap out the tail unit for a metal version as I've heard this will reduce slop.
I am having great difficulty finding the h50073 part.

Anyone know alternative parts I could get to convert my belt drive tail unit to metal?
Help will be greatly appreciated!

This one has been working fine for me, as well as the plastic version.

The Tarot versión is ok, however I don't know if it has the pin that fits into the booms slot. If Jamie said it works its surely ok, Tarot has some good quality parts.

However the original plastic Align tail works fine for any flying style, consider revising it as mine has no slop at all. I tried some cheap metal tails but was not happy with any of them.

Yes the Tarot has the metal locating pin on the vertical tailfin mount.
Beware of the really cheap metal tail cases that simply have a clamping screw. ...they do not hold! !

Thank you very much guys!
I am going to buy a torque tube unit as well that I will convert to, after I inevitably crash my current setup

There's no real reason to switch to a Torque tube. There may be slightly less drag on the system, but there will also probably be extra vibes, and a TT is definitely less forgiving in a crash.

Forget about torque tubes, in all those years flying and crashing the only thing I have never touched is the belt assembly!

What is the best equivalent metal tail upgrade (grips, links) for the 500GF?
Tarot scares me, but I'll go with that if there isn't a better option.
I have a H50073 and thinking about helioption/kde direct variants, but struggling to find much in stock in Europe. I just want something that's reliable and slop-free, the summer is getting close to over and I've barely flown at all.

The tarrot one is exact same as the align one - the side plates are same and interchangeable - there is no difference....I promise - I have both - including extra tarot side plates for future misunderstandings.....

Tarot parts are of a very good quality on par with Align. It is the only non original stuff that I would add to the Trex, I have had a lot of trouble with other brands or clone parts in the past.

Yes Kde and Tarot blocks are exactly the same, the only difference is the finish.
