adjusting parameters via lcd hand held.
Hi Guys
Need a little advice. Updated firmware for Sk 540 as well as the lcd hand held. I'm trying to increase cyclis response for elevator & aileron but notice that the update firmware for the handheld no longer shows these parameters. Does this mean that I have to use a lap top to make the adjustments now ? Thank Guys |

Look under System on the LCD and verify that the user mode is set to Expert

If you are just now updating from one of the V3 firmware versions into 4, then you will notice some tuning parameters such as damping gains and Hiller gain access gone from both the PC and LCD. It's all rolled into the overall head gain now

Hi Xrayted
Thats what I've noticed. Btw already adjusted my elevator n aileron flip n roll rate to max but still it isn't fast. What else can I do. Oh heli is a goblin 770. I also have a slight climbing tendency. Hiller decay set at 105 Thanks again |

If you are talking about a slow pitch up of the nose in FFF, then you can keep going down on the HD. It took a combination of 75 HD and 65 overall head gain on my Goblin 700 to hold true, but now its great. Im using Omers custom base file. Check them out in the sticky at the top. His files have modified Hiller gain and damping ratios built in which improves these tendencies you are describing. Make sure you have all of your parameters saved, as you will need to use his files a base like a SK default and then enter all of your current data.
