Default Ace One Users? Help!

Greetings All,
Was up doing some AP shots and had a scarry thing happen, Was in GPS hold and all of a sudden the ship started to Ascend at med rate and drifting to the right.

I had no input from collective or cyclic at All it was locked and on its own.

Pretty nerve racking time, I had to come out of the GPS and get back to normal mode to get Any responce from the heli at all.

Ship is T Rex 700, Xera motor, Kontronic heli jive 120, ver 13 set to #1 and #4, separate 2S RX pack for RX and Servos.

I many flights on this ship with No issue at all, just went through all calibration with Ace One and did Compass cal just before this flying for the day. This actually happened on the 2nd flight of the day.

Any one have any ideas why it totally locked me out while in GPS mode?

Thanks in advance for any input on this.

Hi Jones,
I had a similar problem with my Jive 80 HV+, Align Brushless and AceOne combo AP ship.

My guess is: When Jive cut off heli started coming down, by the time you switched to manual mode Jive restarted and helped you land safely.

I recommend you program the Jive #4 then #10(KSA) for a XERA motor. Then test fly it in manual mode close to ground for several minutes to see what happens.

Hope it helps,
Ahmet
