I was just joking, I know you have some work to do first!

We want to see you fly because you're very controlled and more importantly ... YOU DO AUTOS!

i still think the headspeed is low. but, *something* woke up the bird today. maybe the warmer weather whatever the case it flies a lot better than it did yesterday.

nothing too crazy, flightwise. i still don't trust the tail. repacking the tail thrust bearings helped a lot. but, there were still a couple of 'kicks' in this flight.

2430 Headspeed is all the 13 tooth is giving? Are you lipos up to par or what's the deal here?

that seems to be the issue. the packs are only 40-50 cycles old and fly my 450 just fine. but, they don't seem to have the poop for this rig. finless' field report video has about 400RPMs on my identical setup...except he said he's running new FP2170s.

note: i also typo'd the batteries...should be 6s, not 3s2p

Yep head speed is down I can hear it but it not bogging too bad....

Make sure you gyro sensor is as FAR back fromt he tail drive bearings t the pick off gear. More folks are reporting kicks if the gyro is too close to that area. I have seen this on the 600 many times too.

Yeah, but do you think that they can't even do 25C anymore? That seems odd...

Man, you know how to use and abuse that T-rex 500!

Could I ask you to list your "setup" her, with regard to servos, gyro, battery etc?

Thanks

Peter

PS: I know you talk about it in the videos, but I am not able to hear the details.
