its approx 1 million degrees here as well. I leave all my stuff in the garage. It seems the garage hardly goes above 90 deg because it is moderated by insulation and being attached to the house.

I'll take the 10% reduction in lipo longevity over the 100% increase in divorce if I leave all my crap inside

Yep...I'll second that notion. I'm surprised I'm not already in that boat.

My electrical engineers agree heat is not good for batteries. At least one says no extreme cold either.

I would think everything else is ok in garage.

I don't like anything sitting in direct sunlight however, but I doubt anyone else would either.

Red face Heat Reform Plastic

hot garage 110+

No Way Jose

Even in Memphis Tennessee (hits 90F) I would never ever store plastic parts in a garage and a LiPo forget it. I always store my LiPo in the frig in a LiPo bag.

All batteries have improved life cycle if stored in a fig. And in a Hot environment it shortens their life cycle. I store my NimH in the frig

At Commercial Aircraft Company some of our composite Ailerons and Flaps were deformed and out of spec prior to hardware installation. To fix them we sat them in the sun and reformed them and this was in Seattle Washington and its cold wet and rainy all year long in Seattle.

110F Heat reform plastic blades and composites is a easy trick I do it all the time. The technical term (engineering) for this is to bring a composite structure near their glass transition temperature.
