2012 Columbus Ohio Funfly

We are gonna take over the Westerville field again on June 23rd. We've had a blast in past years so make sure you get this on your calander!

Here are the rules...

9AM to whenever.
AMA required
No Camping, but there are lots of camping sites nearby at Alum Creek State Park. You may want to try and book now though as the sites fill up fast.
Landing fee will be $10 this year and will include lunch. (Hamburgers, brats, etc).
No electric at the field but I'm sure we'll have a generator or two going if you need.

If you want to come early send me a pm. We may be flying at a different field on fri and sun.

What a great time! I set up shop next to Ken Jennings of Horizon and Chris, and asked Ken to fly my heli. It really increases your confidence when you see a factory piolt bashing your heli around, then saying "nice setup." What I learned from the guys of Horizon was worth the entrance fee, and the juicy burger was just a bonus. I wish I caught the name of the othe Horizon pilot that helped me set up my Dx8.

Thanks to the club from Westerville for the great day. You are a great bunch of guys with an awesome field!

It was a great time meeting old friends and new ones!
A very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.
I'll remember next time to bring more shorts for all those pucker moves!!!
