Replacement Heads

Does anyone know where a replacement head for the sev2 with the flybar can be purchased from? So far it seems like they will only be selling flybarless heads?

Im finding some more serious crashes that involves bent blade grips (happens pretty easy) gets pretty costly. Im hoping maybe they will sell a new head around $80 because when I purchase all of the little parts - it just becomes more cost effective to get a new $245 arf kit :o

Also hoping most the stores selling the 'kit' version will have them in stock sooner, rather than later.

I just checked the NA distributor site, and did not see a complete V2 SE head with flybar. There is this CNC 203851 head without flybar and grips:

I have a couple of those center hubs - sometimes the spindle shaft breaks in half and makes that circle more oval shape.

I was hoping the V2 would have something like this:

The last crash I was using the longer flybars but they all got slightly bent when shipped in from Asia. I straightened them up mostly, but they all had a tendency to roll when flipped. I tried to do a 180 with a flip and then roll it back out all at once and it went down into the concreate .. hehe.

I broke the blade grips, blades, flybar, flybar paddles, spindle shaft broke in half inside the center hub, all 3 ds285 gears broke, side frame broke, skids broke. I got it repaired except for the grips and the other hard crash issue where the belt from teh boom sits higher than the gear (causes the belt to twist around the pulleys).

The plus side is my last one from gothelirc.com came with a battery - and on this last crash my fullymax battery became flexible like putty.

That's all I could find in the way of a complete non-FES head, and it's a G-203690 generic 200 head (non-V2). It goes for $108.50

RotorCycle, dont worry - ill be getting a new Gaui probably next week .. this is #3 from you guys now.

I noticed that the belt across the boom and pulleys is sitting quite a bit higher than the red belt gear. Every time this has happened to me, it causes the belt to twist around the little pulleys by the boom and cause it to piro to death. Not sure why it happens as the gear is pushed up as high as it can go - it is pressing tight against the bearing block.

regarding bent blade grips, check out the "See Saw" thread in here. small.planes looks to be gettign ready to mill out a custom set of stronger blade grips.

yep, assuming I can make em (not tried yet, been doing mixers) bladegrips on the way

probably looking at stronger head blocks soon to.... buzz (used to post here) wants to run some serious fast head speed, so when I get to it Im looking at making a complete head.
