Default RX 146ip and Deans antenna?

I know that the antenna on my 146ip isn't as long as a full size RX's antenna.

Any one running a Deans antenna with thier 146ip? any issues?

I got it on my heli. Works fine, no range issues. But the best thing I have done inorder to get rid of glitches is, grounding the tail.

I have this setup and it works great. I don't have my tail grounded. I have never had a glitch.

I didn't get alot of noticable glitches, but there was a noticable delay sometimes. What I did was solder a piece of insulated wire on the top guide pulley screw in the tail case. Then ran the wire down to the negative termainal on my deans connector, that attaches to the battery. This prevents static electricity from building up, I think.

I also keep everything lubed up well, including the belt, seems to keep me glitch free.

I need to go knock on wood now, I think I may have just jinxed myself, I'm sure I will go home and fly into a tree now. lol.

Once I got my 146p I never have had a glitch with the standard antenna or the deans.
