This really shows how small the Gasser helicopter market really is.

This also tells me that we really did not appreciate those companies who manufactured them in the past. We did not appreciate all the effort they put in for such a small market!!

Whats the count up to as of today Carey?
so far no new orders.

if it doesn't pick up in the next coupla weeks, I'll refund the existing orders and put the idea on hold for now. The 570 parts are starting to roll in so I need to focus on that

There is still a possibility of getting a small number (around 10) made but it may take a while to work that out

This really stinks as i was looking forward to the Agile gasser as my next one. Now may have to build a Goblin gasser..

Carey,
I placed my order during the first week. I do want one. Your comment about maybe a smaller order later is good to hear. If any are built then all the conversion parts need to be built so that there are at least two spares of each part for every conversion or full kit made. Other wise it would be like flying a whiplash today. I just totalled mine and need almost an entire kit to rebuild it. Not going to happen. I would worry about building a limited edition with no parts available.

yeah understood, breakable parts like frames are easy to reproduce.

when you break something like a steel clutch bell in a crash, I don't think you're going to just rebuild the model.......:-)

I've decided to put the Agile 7.2 project on hold for now. Pre-orders did not meet the requested minimum. I may revisit this at a later date.

all pre-orders were refunded in FULL

The 570 project is very near completion

Some of you who are Agile 7.2 fans have asked me to revisit the Agile 7.2 gas conversion

I've been shopping for additional vendors who can produce the required parts in lower quantities and in less time than my original attempt and I have found them and sampled their work quality

the conversion is based on the same design as the Leviathan Goblin conversion and even uses some of the same parts so its a sound conversion

Also KDS is running some smoking deals on their kits

if you're interested in having one of these, take a look here:

Leviathan Agile 7.2 conversion

Is the Clutch bell, bearing blocks, and rest of the stack the same between the Goblin and Agile conversions?

Carey, do you think a short kit would be a possibility? Not at all into electric and not willing to get a agile kit without knowing for sure that it will become a gasser at some point.

It is possible as I already provided KDS with the parts list that needed to be pulled. I didn't go anywhere with it since I didn't get enough preorders last time.

Conversion is already designed and supplier already selected, ready for manufacture, in fact I already have some frame sets cut. If I get the pre-orders, it will be made.

Same here. I like the idea of an Agile kit with the gasser components as part of it already. Though, KDS does have a buy a 7.2 and get a 5.5 for free promotion right now....

Gonna wait till it gets closer to the 10. If these were available I would buy one. But I understand the risk for Carey if he produces the parts and no one buys them then he's out the money.

I'm really curious why these kits aren't flying off the shelf, are most of you guys just not interested in the KDS stuff?

This seems like another solid pod and boom setup for the guys that don't like the full fuse of a goblin.
