Default BUMP interface cable: proper polarity with a PL6

Establishing the proper polarity on the BUMP side of the interface cable is easy: black on the right (when viewed from the top front). And the BUMP displays a multi-color graphic on its start panel.

Proper polarity for the PL6 data port side of the interface cable is not so obvious.

Page 7 of the BUMP User Guide says:

"Proper polarity for each PowerLab data port side of the cable (listed as “TO PC”) is illustrated on every PowerLab top panel label and varies from model-to-model."

However, what's written on the top of my two PL6's is inconsistent: one says: G+S TO PC, the other says S+G TO PC. Same model, but different polarity information on the top.

From trial and error it became clear that G+S is the required polarity for both.

The documentation could use some clarification on this point.

You could have walked that info in. Aren't you like minutes away from the RevoUSA store?
