Default AR7200BX Tail problem

I'm having issues with my tail rudder set up on the Trex 700V2. After doing step E tail servo end points adjustment and getting full movement on the rudder. Once I complete the set up and check the rudder, I'm getting very little movement on the rudder. Is there something I can do with my transmitter to make the adjustment so I get full movement? I have a JR9503 transmitter/radio.

Thanks!

The X9303 and X9503 do not allow using the Gear channel with the Gyro Sense menu. The AR7200BX uses the Gear channel for tail gyro gain (as do most FBL units).

I have only set one of these up once, but mixed the Gear channel to a channel that can be selected for use with the Gyro Gain menu.

Once this is done, make sure that the gyro gain is tied to the flight mode switch, then you should have normal rudder travel.

I'll make the correction and give it a try. Thank you!

If the AR7200BX does not see a signal from the rudder gain channel, you won't get any throw out of it. Not sure why it is this way, but it is (found this out on the 11X).

Robirds are the same way.

Please let us know how it works out, sir.

Default AR7200BX Tail problem

I finally figured it out. I had to switch the gear channel to governor and aux2 to gyro. I was able to set my gyro gain from the governor function list. Now I'm getting full movement from the rudder and no more spin out.

Thank you!

Default AR7200BX Something weird happening

I have two BX receivers and both have lost the ability to be programed. Both bind normally, and all flight function work as normal. When program mode on either one is entered, nothing happens. I have both Spektrum and JR transmitters, both blind the receivers as normal, but nothing happens.

I don't know what device(s) is bad and I'm reluctant to send them in for repair, but feel this is a software problem. I've reset both to factory defaults with no change.

Anyone got any ideas?

Bill

I would call Horizon and speak to them about it.

They have very good service and often (but not always) repair things at no charge.
