Old post, old FBL system, but I still use the 3GX (V5). Here are the final settings for my Hobbyking 450TT PRO V2 FBL:

Motor: Turnigy HeliDrive SK3 Competition Series 2839, 3600kV
ESC: Hobbyking YEP 80A (too big, I know)
Servos: TGY-306G

Tx Expo: Ail/Elev 0%, Rudder 20%
3GX Expo: Ail/Elev: 4
Aileron Gain: 134
Elevation Gain: 165
Rudder Gain: 35
Collective Pitch Elev Precomp: 90
Elevator / Aileron Flip Rate: 70 / 70
Rudder lock gain: 80
Collective Pitch Torque Precomp: 100
Anti Torque Compensation: 40

It flies great now!

I'm brand new with 3GX.
Just tried my first install with V5.

All went very well except that I have both gains all the way completely up
in order to get my 450 even flyable.
Started out with gains BOTH set at "135".
And it felt and flew like the gain was terribly low.
Almost like flying flybarless with only a tail gyro.
Which I do occasionally.
Or same as turning gain all the way down on other FBL units.
Anyhow looking for some suggestions and experience as
Mine is flying OK but still feels like the gains are a bit too low even with both of them cranked all the way up.
I find odd that:

One is called "Aileron Sensitivity" and NOT gain.
Elevator Gain can go up to 200 (which is where I have it set)
Aileron Sensitivity maxes out at "179" as seen in software.
Won;t go any higher and is only adjustable with the POT,
and not from the software..
Seems to be read-only in the software.

Tried turning them up again, Now Aileron Sensitivity is as high as it will go and displays "179" in software cranked all the way up.
