Default I adore this bird but ........

I put my mcpx in the lbs because I bought a bad board. Its been over 3 years. The guy knows I'm going through rough times right now and I've basically begged him to make it right. Anyway, I finally came to the conclusion that its gone. Can't seem to take it off of my dx6i but I'm going to have to soon because every time I flip through and see it it makes my heart skip a beat. Anyway, thanks for listening. I needed to whine to someone and nobody really gets it but you guys/us. Thanks again

It's sad. But you'll bounce back when you upgrade to a nice used Mcpx BL!

Still love this thing. Sure I flew my 450 3D today with some light circuits and hovering. But the Mcpx survived at least 5 whacks into the grass while attempting my first tries st loops and rolls! What a rugged, reliable and fun little bird!!

So busy with my business just couldn't make it happen but was cleaning out my closet today and dug out the mcpx v2 I have it all rebuilt and got me all excited I really enjoy flying the little thing will have to try and get out this winter if it warms up a bit.

Pretty sure Lbs is short for compound. In other words, locked up.

Sad to hear. I'm curious what was wrong with the board you got and why they wouldn't exchange it?

Love mine too, just the perfect size for flying in the yard with a lot better power than other micros.

Mine started out as a V2, but I keep doing all these upgrades on it. At this point the only things Blade left on it are BL model skids and servos. Latest project is to fit a uBrain2. It does add some weight, about 5g, but my Franken-mCPX runs 2S with a beefy HP08S motor so expect it can handle a little more weight. Does move the CG forward a lot so I'll have to put a longer boom on it with some ballast possibly.

Was doing the uBrain setup this evening, maybe maiden tomorrow or next day. So far everything works as expected on the bench. Bit tricky to get the motored tail working right with a controller made for a tail servo, but I think I tricked it into shape. The tail motor does work as expected on the bench, the tail ESC even arms without any extra action on my end.
