I'm having the same problem as arquitron. Esc kept beeping after connecting the bat. Maybe shock damage?

The spark that you see will at most cause pitting of the connectors in the pain power harness. Can you check your motor for continuity across all 3 phases, or with another working ESC. That will tell you if it is a problem with the motor or ESC. Provided the motor checks out, you might have to fiddle around with ESC settings or Tx settings and see what happens. Which ESC are you using?

In my case the problem was a faulty connector on the motor's black wire.

I'm using the gazaur v1 55a esc. had the motor checked out and it's running fine. swap the esc to my rex and same problem. i inspected all connections and wires and everything looks like the first day out of package.

Well it must be a transmitter settings thing. Is your throttle channel reversed? Is there any throttle trim? try resetting your endpoints?
I've never used this ESC btw.

3My480Pro,

I think I know what is happening with your ESC. You may need to program max and min throttle limits on your ESC first before doing any programing for your motor.

Uninstall your motor pinion or move your motor so it does not mesh with your main gear. Move your throttle stick to max, then turn on your TX , connnect the batery to your ESC, you will hear a beep and then the led on your ESC will blink repeatedly, wait 6 to 8 secs and move the stick to min throttle, your will hear one more beep and your throttle limits (max and min) are set in your ESC.

Let us know how it went.

Cool, tell us how your flights go. What charger/parallel board is that? Also, I wouldn't strap the power supply and charger together, because of possible hear issues.
Man, I'm jealous of all your packs. I've got to buy some new ones.

thanks arquitron. flight was great today praetorious. a bit windy where i was at but the bird held it's ground. i made a few mods to both the charger and the PS so there's barely any heat issue. swap out the cheap clay heating material with artic silver and made a few extra vents.
