Ladies and gentlemen thanks for all your answers even the jokes at the end. As I thought and from all your replies it is than more likely that right stick being called the elevator is a throwback to fixed wing flyers taking up heli's.

Just an additional mention , I just hovered my 450 out in my backyard for the first time ever. yippee. So far I've only tried hovering in my garage but out- doors seemed easier. Does that make me an RC heli pilot? lol

Planks have aileron, elevator and rudder

We have roll, nick and tail - plus pitch.

What's the problem?
