Default XPS packs

Well.. with just over 80 cycles... it seems all my 'miracle' XPS 65C/8C packs are dying.. They still have decent power and flight time.. but are getting mushy, and don't balance like they used to.. and are puffing.

I am hoping I get more with my newer Gens Ace. Up to 33 cycles on those for my 550. Also bought 6 4000's for my Fusion 50. Time will tell.

No Pete! Noo! I don't want to hear about your mushy puffing XPS packs. My XPS packs are going to last 300 cycles

sorry but if you search all the forums it seems that XPS are puff puff the magic dragon HA!. Also seems that voltz have turned out to be pretty much short lived trash also.

Mine aren't showing any signs of puffing yet. Crossing my fingers!

I only run gens ace. I've heard horrible things about nano-tech too. Tommy how many cycles? I think you are good for at least 80-100.

Not sure exactly how many cycles. I'd have to get out my log book and add things up. But my guess is that I have somewhere around 45 per pack.

Has anyone put over 100 on the gens ace yet? I'm kind of curios

I haven't got many cycles on the Gens Ace packs, but they seem to run cooler than the XPS and so far I'm happier with them then I was with either the XPS or the Voltz.

I bought 2 XPS packs. The first puffed at around 30 cycles, a cell died in 40. My other was going strong and has now started to puff at around 50 cycles, and power is fading from it. I use it as my warm up pack now and I fly Gens Ace (have 4 of them) from now on. These produce more power then the XPS ever did and they come down way cooler. Also can get 3 for the price of 2 XPS.

I have flown voltz packs of various sizes in many helis, 100+ cycles on my GAUI x5 and Trex 500 ( shared packs ) and I have no puffing.

I ordered 2 gens ace 2200 for my 450 and one died on the second cycle.

All batteries can be crap or good, I see no rhyme or reason to it.
