Yep, I did.

Here's a list of the dip settings -

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but it took a while before I actually saw the heli. He went for the Heliguy Atom Co-ax, as suggested by Dave, and then confirmed as a good flier by Antony. He broke the flybar, and brought it in to work, together with the parts, for me to fix it, lol. Had a fly around at work, and I have to say, what a cracking little helicopter.

Just like an mCX, and a nice scale body which must be great for kids. Flashing lights too, I was made up. Spent most of the day at work just cursing the wait between battery charges.

Trimmed it out after the repair, and it was a nice, tame, hands free, hovering machine. I practiced my backwards circuits, and some normal figure 8s, and a whole bunch of normal flight stuff and it was perfect for learning as a kid. Let go of the sticks, and worry only about throttle, and you're good.

Seriously good, even though in truth I did soon get bored of it, but to get started in the hobby, £40, including the Tx is just superb, for a fully functioning, all direction control helicopter.

Thanks for the recommendations all, the kid loves it, and his dad is having a blast too.

Cheers

Sutty
