Default Heli option turnbuckles

Hey guys I've converted my trex 500e which is same as ESP to a DFC align head. I noticed my swash to servo links are way to long and Heli option sell some nice turnbuckle style links that you can adjust without taking off. Has anyone used them? Will they work on a ESP frame?

How about making new threads with a die, and then shortening the rods?

Ken

That would be a very small die!! I've thought about it, but the kit that I got, wasn't even close to coming that small.

While I tried like these turnbuckles, they are not very durable. I had a tail first crash a few weeks ago and to my surprise I managed to break titanium. Two of the 3 cyclic linkages were cleanly broken, I was disappointed because the regular links only bend and can be straightened.

The downside to titanium. The same problem exhibited itself when I raced buggies and trucks. Hard smack into the wall usually meant you'd have a break at the threads with Ti-turnbuckles.

Ti doesn't bend, it breaks.
