WOW!!
Thats going to look nice. Almost too nice to fly with. If it's fiberglass, watch for clearance issues around the elevator linkages. I (had) a fiberglass TRex canopy (R.I.P) and found it tight in that area. For some reason the plastic T-Rex canopy fit perfectly. The Thunder Tiger canopy I use has tons of room around it and openings for air flow..

anyhoos £40 on replacment spares and £100 on extra spares and carbon goodies here is what im left with

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XE5j4KBOMo

its my customised blade 400, not as fancy as some ive seen but getting there

next on the list is some black metal upgraded parts for the head and tail and possibly
new upgraded metal servos as the stock ones are the pitts, really weak servos and ive heard nothing good about them, even replacments are a small fortune so i opted for a gear set replacment untill i find some cheap good quality metal or carbonite ones like hitecs or futabas or sommit, never went wrong with futaba gear with my plane collection in the past so might opt for some futaba action for my b400

anyways sorry its not picsas i accedently deleted al my pics i had instead of closing the project video lol

anyhoos its probably a bad colour choice i know so i might ger some carbon/bright colour canopy from the t-rex 450, ive seen some sweet canopys on ebay for cheap $$ and ive heard that they fit the b400 so ideal

anyhoo thats my rockin!blade400
hope ya like

Looks a little like permanent marker

I had someone recommend proper model paint to me once, the stuff that you can paint your Warhammer army with, as it's one of the few types of paint that bonds to the plastic.

never tried it before but Krylon fusion will probably do well, it you're good with a rattle can and some masking tape...

I use fusion for a lot of plastic stuff and it really does work great

So I just bought this Blade 400. Haven't even got it in the mail yet. Looking forward to learning to fly this. (I'm getting bored with my CX2)

The lighting looks weird on that. It looks like it's flying in front of a "green screen" and a background was substituted in.

edit: Picture is too sharp, there's no blur from forward motion. Nice pic though.

Ok now some shots of it in my possesion. It has a T-Rex canopy, tail fins, and skids, but it's otherwise all stock Blade 400 underneath.

The picture above really does look fake, but it's not. Take a look at this. Tall mountains put us in a shadow while everything else got the sun. The picture was taken with a forced flash, giving the goofy contrast. The bald eagle was hanging out all day and just happened to cruise by at the right moment. I have tons of pictures taken here that look fake due to the lighting.
