Default Converting 600 pro to flybarless

Hi guys, I have a chance at a 600 pro flbarred unit new in box. It is a complete kit with motor, esc, servos, etc...

I have plans to build a 600 size airwolf and the mechanics from the unit appear to be perfect.

What is the best way to upgrade the head. The stadard head with swash drivers is about $100 and appears to be sold out almost everywhere.....

Can the flybarred head be modified with flybarless parts or is it necessary to just change the whole head.

The DFC head looks to be too low for a scale build so I need something a little taller.

You really can't convert a flybarred head to flybarless. The head blocks and mixer/driver arms are different. Getting the following four parts, head block, grip arms, swash driver arms and efl linkage set should work to convert to flybarless. Grips, feathering shaft, dampers, spacers, main shaft and ball links from the flybarred head are usable for a flybarless head.....

+1 to the parts Treo listed above. That will probably be your cheapest and easiest option. It's a good setup and works great.

I did the same upgrade last year to my 500 pro FB using similar parts just smaller
Heli flies great a year later, I thought it was a cheap upgrade

And you right the dfc head might not fit and even if it did it would look weird on a scale model

Decided on tracx head. Just seems to be the better long term solution.
