Cool cool! Let me know asap if they fit and where ya got em please. My heli already has the JST on it. Do I need to change that or will it not make any difference. Cant wait to get em figured out. I decided this year I am getting most of the stuff I need to enjoy flying this year. Just wish that the wind would be calmer this year. Seems like the last 3 years there has been more wind than usual.

I went with ultra-Deans but XT-30s are probably the best.

ok, got to the field and flew one pack. The wind was picking up and too strong for the lil heli. Now I am storage charging the packs I just charged. The pack was def stronger than stock but I did not get to flip the heli nor push it any. I could barely fly it. I bet the lil thing was doing 40mph at one point LOL. I hate that the last three years here in Northern Illinois have been so freaking windy. And it looks like this will be year number four so far.

My gen ace came with female deans on them. I left the jst on the speed controller and spliced a male deans to the jst connector so my heli can run both.

Just got done running 9 of the 250 Hyperion packs throw the MCP X. Am very happy with them. I could roll and recover multiple times. There was more problems with the tail gyro giving up but then again I was hard on it to see what these would do. I have the V1.

On the mcpx, what really struck me about the hyperions was how well they hold voltage. I had the same power until i had none.

I have had bad luck with my mcpx hyperion battery. The black plastic tab on top of the battery has come loose after only a few cycles. If I peek under it can see the wiring to the connector. I have put it in a lipo bag and thinking about disposing it since I think a short is likely if I continue to use it.

My LHS called me saying he didnt get them in his last order. Then he called again this week saying they might be back order. If he can get them ill try a pack before getting 2 or 3 more. Else ill grab 2 packs of Gens waiting for the Hyperions.

One battery is not enough now that I am hovering around. I had to get 2 more Gens today. They are the 20c 800mah. I ran them for 5 minutes each while hovering during my fine tuning. I was surprized to see they still had 11.5 v left in the batteries when I stuck them on the charger. How far down can I take these batteries?

Here"s another question about those 800mah 20c 3s batteries for you guys. Last one I swear

What would be the "highest" and the "best" charge rate I should use with my Balancing Charger?

5C according to this: http://electriflyer.co.uk/gens-ace-3s1p-800mah-20c-new/

So 5 times the mAh. Id back it to 4 just to be on the safe side. Mines are 6C and they recommend to charge at 5C. Since they brand new im charging them a bit lower still.
