Yep for the car. No for the racing (like official racing). When I take a college home they usually get sick and that's just me driving home . I drive an 06 stock Pony. But I'm saving up for the next year's model. Ah wait, they don't sell them in Alaska.

Bigtim, sorry to hijack your thread

Lunchbox not sure how to find the case online, I went into the store and found it right away. Truth be told it was another heli freak on here that has posted this idea about the case a few month ago. Glad you all found it helpful though

Lots of great cases here so don't know if this is needed but I got this one for my 120:
http://www.xheli.com/exi250alcaca.html

With the blades folded the 120 it fits in the helo section just as perfect as could be imagined. An does it upright which I liked

The radio part needed just a tad of trimming for my LP5DSM because of the radios grab bar but after that it fit nice.

Keep in mind that at $20.00 its not in the league with more expensive cases but it works really well, fits everything you could need and has plenty of room left over for extra stuff.

Am currently using it for all my 120 stuff and 4 extra 3 cells for my Rex.

Here's some pics of my exi250 case. Like WBF, it does fit it rather snug.

I even carry my msr in it sometimes. more pics here:

That Align case is nice, but maybe a bit too pricey for my needs

Here is what I use for my "carrying case"...does this count?

That is a GREAT deal!!! Does anyone know of a cheapie for the mSR/DX6i that looks as nice as this one? I am FOR SURE gettin this case in spring when I get my SR 120. On a side note, is a exi250 really the same size as the SR 120? I thought the number was for sizing?

I don't know about your question directly, but while my 120 fits in this case as well as I said, I can tell that its boom is well shorter then the cut out. In fact it doesn't even reach into the square cut out spot that there is for the 250 tail assembly.

The skids fit very well width wise though, and actually I have noticed that the nose is just a hair long and or the skids are set back a bit too much, (which ever you want to call it) but all in all that's part of what makes is fit so snug.

If I were to guess, I would say that since the canopy of most CCPM helos is kinda more shorter and rounder, this is why this all works out this way.

Default my case...

Since this is the 120 sr case thread... and I just finished my case over the weekend - thought I'd share!

$20 case from Home Depot, $10 of Black Neoprene foam from my local upholstery guy, and 4 hours with a exacto & razor blade...
