Question new X50e V2 next release?

Maybe this is too early to ask, but since TT is enjoying so much fame with E700 and E700 V2, will there be a new X50e released anytime soon, based on the E700?

In my opinion the X50e needs an update - helical and/or herringbone gears, move the rotor disc closer to the frame, removable battery tray like on the E700. I would just release a scaled down E700.

Has anyone heard anything?

I have not heard anything but I agree the x50e is about due for a facelift.

I'd like to see the following changes;

- include metal main shaft bearing blocks
- go to a 8mm spindle
- include metal tail pitch lever and control arm
- better quality and better viz fg canopy

Those are improvements that I think could be done without any change in price esp. if they sold the kit without main or tail blades and have already gone back to the cheaper Al tail boom.

Lots of flights on mine and it's still going strong.

Cheers,
TomC
