Hello,
Im trying to intel the spectrum backplate RPM sensor to my OS105HZ, but can't figure out what my Orangerx with telemetry is not riding it... do i have to change the wire order? or does it star to read after x number of RPM.. since i have try it with the Spirit FBL and it does work it send information but the rx is not riding it, i have on the FBL if i turn the motor with the starter for 60-300hs. but on the rx won't read it....

When you say 'telemetry', are you asking about reading RPM on your transmitter?

Or, just getting the receiver's govenor to work?

Either way, it really does not matter.

The Spektrum BPS (backplate sensor) will trigger pulses by simply turning the motor by hand.

It works in a similar way as the "traditional" magnets on a flywheel

As soon as the crankpin passes close enough to the senor (no matter how slowly) there should be a trigger on the gov / RPM input.

You can swap the red / black wires without causing any problems and try again. These are the power to the sensor.
The orange wire is the signal and you do not want to change that.

You can also adjust the gap between the aluminum backplate and the surface of the sensor. I use about 1mm

Hello, thank you for your replay, i will try your suggestion, whet im trying to do i that my transmitter can read the RPM using telemetry form the backplate sensor.
i will try switching the wires.

you mention to swap the red / black wires, in the pick its already change (thats how it came), are you saying i should reverse them or are they already swap.

here is a picture of the actual end of the backplate wire..

No picture is uploaded - sorry.

My guess is that the "problem" is related to the "orangerx" - I have no idea what that is or how it works.
I assume it is some kind of telemetry down link to your transmitter?

But, if you are trying to "share" the signal from the Spektrum BPS with the Spirit FBL and the "orangerx" (what ever that is) with a Y-connector (one connector the the Spirit FBL and one connector to the "orangerx), then only 1 red wire should be hooked up.
The power supply from the FBL and the "orangerx" should be be connected (red wire) together.
