I dont think this is a turnigy brand specific problem.I have never fully chrged my turnigy in my dx 8 ever.

I do this as well, I just chart it to about 7.9 volts and run it down to about 7.2. I never full charge or discharge it.

this is what i've been using to charge my dx7s lipo with, been using it for a while now with no problems. i use my i charger 106b .
