The orange was fine, but I have two sets of these blades and tail blades and it just was not working lol! If you want the canopy it is sold at oomodel for $47 http://www.oomodel.com/logo-600-cano...2-p-64000.html they have two others as well.

just warning you to be carefully is all, if you crash or hard land that shaft will go right into a pack and start a fire.. trust me.. I seen it already..

Most of the guys at our field made little metal or CF plates that they velcro to the top of the packs. They also use the same plank to slide under the battery to lift it off the velcro and slide the battery out.

Hi. I'm going to be using 6s 4000s as thats what I'm using in my tdr. I'm only going to run about 2050 headspeed.

The blades are 523s as supplied as part of the kit. I may try 553s as I like the floaty feeling.

Logo 600 SX with Pyro 700-52, Jive 80, BLS950/Fut BLS256HV, Silverline Vbar and Glacier 12s 8ah pack set. Also have the carbon frame and canopy that I bought together used from this forum.

So smooth that it threw me off guard... I didn't have to adjust a thing mechanically on the maiden flight. I did a gain change, tail/cyclic optimization and a trim flight and just let it float. Truly amazing, and more than I was expecting from such a simple design.

What's the best way to cut off the shaft? Dremel? Put the whole motor into a lathe?

Dremel works great, better with fiber reenforced wheel.
Make sure you put the motor in a baggie/tape and just poke the shaft through. This prevents and shavings/filings from being pulled into the motor and sticking to mags.

exactly,

I went a step further and put tape around all the vent holes too, AND used the baggie
