It has a .46 os in it. It flies a little faster than I am used to, but I like it.

I just like flying stuff. I prefer the heli's, but I fly the airplane much better.

+1. An airplane hides flight imperfections better than a heli, IMO. But even after 18 years of flying planes, I still love to do it.

I have some of my most relaxing and enjoyable times with a 60 size trainer doing ultra slow approaches and just goofing around with it. I have flown everything from a .25 trainer to a pro built 40% IMAC plane, and I have the most fun horsing around with a trainer. I had gotten bored until I discovered the new and exciting world of helis! Now I am totally addcited (to the point of needing help, seriously).

I flew my Extra 300 2 more times this weekend. I am getting used to the plane and getting it trimmed out.

I know some people think airplanes are a waste of time, but I think the plane really helps some of my flying. Like flying big and smooth.

Nice looking plane. I agree, just to get out and fly is ok by me. One day I will move up to gas, still like the smell of Nitro in the morning.

How do you like the little 300SP? I have an O.S. 46 LA that may be looking for a new home soon.

I have the .46 ax motor. Just a little more power than the la motor. I can hover alittle with the ax motor. The la might be a little on the week side.

I do like the plane, have not had a chance to fly it too much. I fly the Heli more.

Update: Extra 300, Rest in piece. We have a river by my field and the plane went in after it fell out of a tree into the river.

We have had alot of rain lately and the river is moving pretty good. I can not swim and even if I did I do not think I would of went for it. I just had to watch it float on down the river. We got a cayak to go look for it. Think it is stuck underwater at under some branches. Maybe I can find it when the water level goes down.
