Default rc711 bad experience

This is not a rip-off alert (yet) but it is FYI...
I bought a set of Futaba servos from rc711 last week. Everything was listed as "In Stock". I had not received a ship notice so I emailed yesterday. Got this response back last night;

Dear Sirs,

Thank you very much for your email.

As your order #232415 & #232417 will restock on next week, we will send out your order once the stock arrival. The update order status will email you later.

Should you have further question, please do not hesitate to contact us.


They should have told me at the time I ordered that they were out of stock.
I also found out that there is NO factory warranty on Futaba servos ordered through them. They are grey market goods. I'm relying on the Futaba servos' reputation for being "bullet-proof" but if there is a problem, it's on me.

Yeah even i noticed that . I think they take order first then search around if they got the product ! And very late shipping and some time partially shipped order :\

When dealing with RC711, must send them email first to confirm if a product is in stock.
Other than this everything else is ok with them from my experience.

You need to keep in mind, it's possible that they only had a limited number of those servos in stock, and someone else hit the order button on the last three just before you did.

This time my 6Hv U kit came with damaged boom . The box was fine but boom damaged .
Definetely was shipped damaged .
Paid 165$ For DHL shipping along 2 carry bags .

Now they offer 13 USD refund .

I'm done with Them

They have always been fair to me

Refund the boom what else do you want? Maybe extra $10 to ship and buy locally. Or they could ask you to send back first

Except Align nothing is available locally here .
I'll have to wait 30-40 days to get replacement via airmail . And still not sure if it will come in 1 piece . After paying 165 for shipping i don't expect this .
And now i wanna order boom separately from US then 11 + 40 For UPS :/

The problem is that it was shipped damaged .

These guys don't carry the 6hvu but they do carry several other makes. I've bought from them in the past and they were always good. You could try contacting them and see if they can get you the 6hvu boom since they do carry the 7hv.

I do not think online stores should charge you for anything they dont have in stock. Its one thing if you walk in a store and pre-order something, but I absolutely hate it when an item shows in stock and I order it then get charged for the whole order and only half of it comes in! Then you have to go through the hassle of getting a refund.
