Default Loose blades - what is the solution?

Hi there,
I have the radix blades on my heli, there is no way to tighten the bolts more then they are right now - and the blades are still not strong enough for an autorotation bailout - What is your guys's solution to that?

Thanks
Elad.

Are you using the black blade spacers that came with the kit ?

I've had blades in the past that had their brass bushings not installed correctly (not flush with the rest of the blade). That does make them really sloppy even when tight really well but sounds like a wild shot if you're having this on both blades, wouldn't hurt to check though.

Using the black spacers included in the kit and the brass inserts that came with the Radix blades seemed to snug up really well for me earlier today.

I am using SpinBlades Matt Black with their bushing and white spacers and I have to tighten more than on other helis. I thought the TDR was like that since I have not tried any other blade other than these. I am able to get them medium tight as I always use all my blades and have made bailouts with no problems.

In general, it is not blade related thing, i tried about 4-5 different blades and i always must tighten it hard, to avoid movement of the blades.
At beginning, i had one blade folded during spoolup, so i tighten them more then you would expect, 200g blade have some inertia...

+1 on the black spacers and you have to tighten them a bit more than other helis, but all my TDRs and those of my friend have good blade holding on all the blades we've tested i.e. Radix std, FBL, Jan's etc.

If you tightend them so far that they would touch the blades without the spacers then you probably abussed yar blade grips. Beter check them for damage, you dont want these to come of in flight.

Is that spacer in place? I looks as if it's added from the outside rather than centered with the bolt going through.

Do you have the spacers on upper AND lower side?
You have the problem while Bailout? The restart-torque is to high? Another posibillity is to fix the blades with another screw (allen screw) in the second hole of the blade grips. But be patient not to damage the blades. This fix is done by pilots trying to do an bladestop.

And there is one spacer above and one under the blade..?

I'm sorry for asking, but there was one guy here, some time ago, asking if he should use both spacers, or just one per blade, so you never know...
