Default Lepton Pics from the MHA Event Check these out!!

Jeff Green flew his Lepton quite a few times at the event with absolutely no mechanical or any other problems. I really like this machine, and I hope to have one some day. I was very impressed.

Jeff's setup was using the Hyperion motor setup for 3s and 2 3s1p packs in parallel for 3s2p. He figures more people will be upgrading form the TREX 450 to this machine and already have the packs and chargers so that is what he was demonstrating at the MHA Event.. a 3s Lepton setup that flew GREAT!! :glasses2:

Here are some pics of the machine and I have a demo video online as soon as I get caught up on the real job.

What do you guys think of this!! I left the lighter nad pack of cigs in teh pic to give you a good idea of the size of this machine. NICE Hirobo!!

Definately looking to replace my blinged out T-Rex with this. I'm also planning on using 2 T-Rex packs but looking more to a 6s setup with one of the Hacker A30's and a Castle HV45 ESC.

I know that many places have fully pre-sold their initial allotment of Leptons and at this
point, if you pre-order now, you're looking at sometime in July (vs. next couple of weeks).

Thats just the reality of being somewhat 'late' to the party.

SWEET..... I gotta find a better way to mount the gyro... It's a sitting duck sticking up like that but not as much of a duck as on the Trex

Looking at the pics it seems like the ESC could easily go in that slot above the battery?

looks like the gyro could be mounted in front of the motor for good protection if it is not affected by any interferance there.

The heli flew very smooth from what I saw. I cant wait to own one. A little size matters, as I feel its easier to see than the Trex in the air.

My only disappointment, is that Jeff smokes cigarettes!!!! Don't you know those things will kill you bro? LOL?

the way the Lepton layout, the tail is very heavy...
i have to shift my batteries to the front of the heli, really far out...
and i believe here should be a mod to extend the battery compartment/holder

What in the design makes it so tail heavy??

Other than batteries, can anything be relocated towards the front to help?

Will the Lepton EX V2 address this issue?
